Awesome & Creative Sand Drawings you Shouldn’t Miss

Posted by Zeeshan Hayat | Monday, December 13, 2010 | Category: |

Drawn on sand, earth, and ice, these incredible works of art ( free hand sand drawings) are both created and destroyed by the very materials that enable their existence. At low tide on wide beaches Jim searches the shore for a wave tossed stick. After finding a good stick and composing himself in the near and far environment Jim draws, laboring up to 7 hours and walking as many as 30 miles.
Almost all of his work is done using stick and on foot, the only time he used vehicles was to create the biggest artwork ever seen below. This large piece was completed on the Salt Flats in Nevada and could be seen from space.  The work no longer exists as weather has gradually erased the image. Amazing isn’t it.
Checkout the amazing pictures of the sand artwork by Jim below. Look at the precision in his art, this is phenomenal.
